United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA)
The FDA is the watch dog for US Food Safety and conducts routine, unscheduled audits of our facilities, products, Sanitation and HACCP program (as requird within Title 21 CFR Part 123). Our facilities have undergone rigorous unannounced inspections and complies with all US FDA requirements and recommendations.
United States Department of Commerce (USDC)
Norpac has been full inspected by the USDC and found to be compliant with standards necessary for Food Safety requirements for the US Government, US Military, and sale outside the United States.
The comprehensive audits are required to be conducted and passed prior to acceptance for inclusion in government food service contracts, US Military contracts and sales to companies outside the United States. Norpac is compliant with all USDC rules and regulations for Food Safety and Sanitation.
Hawaii State Department of Health
The State conducts site inspection audits by law at no less than once every two years. Our State Food Establishment Permit is granted upon State inspection validation of our compliance with HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices.
The State also contracts with the US FDA to conduct additional inspections in support of the US FDA role regarding Food Safety, and in such capacity also inspects our facilities for compliance with Federal regulations and standards. Norpac is in compliance with all State and Federal regulations and standards.
