About Us
Providing the Best of the Pacific since 1986
By receiving fish from our company-owned fleet of boats, cargo aircraft, and processing centers across the Pacific, as well as buying daily at the Hawaii fish auction, we ensure complete traceability and unmatched logistics for restaurants, retailers, wholesalers, and home cooks alike.
Using only responsible catching practices and working with properly managed fish farms, we’ve also remained committed to preserving ocean waters and marine life while fishing the Central and Western Pacific from Hawaii, the Philippines Marshall Islands, Micronesia, and Indonesia.
Setting the Standard
We deliver premium, sustainably sourced seafood with a steadfast commitment to quality and consistency. That’s why some of the world’s finest restaurants, hotels, and retailers rely on us to stock their kitchens. With expertly trained staff and rigorous handling standards, we ensure every catch—whether it’s ahi, snapper, or swordfish—meets the highest level of freshness and perfection, providing our customers with nothing but the finest seafood.
Social Responsibility
Healthy food starts with responsible handling.
Trained scientists lead our Food Safety team, working closely with operational and IT teams to keep every seafood product safe, consistent, and reliable. Their expertise drives the highest standards throughout every stage of our supply chain.
At Norpac Fisheries Export, we go beyond FDA standards. We implement the SQF Edition 9 Food Safety System, which features daily inspections, digital monitoring, third-party testing, and multiple quality control checkpoints—from receiving fish to final packaging. These proactive measures safeguard our products, support your business, and protect your customers. By reducing risk and ensuring consistency, we help your kitchen run smoothly and build lasting trust with those you serve.
Some of the key components that ensure the safety of our food include:
- Development and maintenance of a GFSI Food Safety Management System
- Daily inspections at various points of the day that ensure programs are being followed
- Daily review of production logs
- Monthly comparisons to GFSI-based Food Safety Program expectations
- Third party testing of water, ice, ingredients and food contact surfaces and finished products
- Screening of goods when they are received
- Fresh seafood is processed at temperatures under 40°F
- A policy of continuous improvement that focuses on what can we do, instead of what must we do

Our Supply Chain Advantage: From Boat to Buyer
Norpac owns and operates its own longline fishing vessels, processing centers, and dedicated cargo capacity, and we sell direct to buyers. That vertical control means we manage every step of the journey, from harvest through handling, grading, and cold-chain transport, so customers receive consistent, sashimi-quality tuna with verifiable traceability and fewer intermediary markups. Our systems ensure each lot is tracked, handled to strict safety standards, and delivered on the timing and specification your business requires.
We are currently playing a leading role in FIPs focused on improving fishing practices in:
- Marshall Islands
- Federated States of Micronesia
- Indonesia
- Philippines
- Vietnam (Initial Founder and Prior Participant, not currently supporting)
