As an internationally leading seafood provider, it’s our responsibility to provide high-quality products to our customers without jeopardizing our ecosystems. We work with multiple organizations, governments and foundations, all dedicated to fishery management using scientific data, effort limits, total allowable catch limits, marine protected areas, and other measures designed to preserve our ocean’s marine life and developing best fishing practices to sustain a healthy fish population. 

Our vessels only fish in territorial waters, legally licensed, returning to port for unloading where their catch can be visually inspected and recorded. All of our vessels have GPS devices to transmit and monitor their location at all times, many have human and electronic observers onboard to record fishing activity and interactions, and use best practices and gear modifications to minimize catch or entanglement of unintended species. None of our seafood comes from vessels using nets or trawling, which can leave behind “ghost” fishing gear that is harmful to conservation efforts.
